Discussion about
No naming names but this particular Corcoran team, or couple, seem to be extremely manipulative. Those who'd dealt with them will probably recognize the style. I checked their history, crossreferencing the Corcoran site and Streeteasy, and it looks like listings are being taken away from them left and right; now they have only 1, and their Corcoran page has "recently sold" listings that are at least a few years old. What do you think is going on there?

It sounds like you have answered your own question. If they are manipulative and their listings are being taken away (more likely, the exclusive period is over and the sellers are not renewing) then people are probably just deciding to to use other brokers they get along with.

Regardless of whether you are using them or not, if you ever have trouble with a broker while you have an exclusive agreement, it never hurts to simply ask to end the exclusive early instead of riding out your 6 months (or whatever length the agreement is for) and potentially losing a sale during that period.

The strange thing is that the listings seem to be taken from them only after a couple of weeks after the initial agreement. This couple somehow set the radar off, and I thought it might be just me but what's with their listings (multiple!) disappearing before the exclusive runs out? Is it normal? I'm talking about a potential deal of $1.7M.
