already made a bid-too late switch brokers?

i recently made a bid on a manhattan apartment with my brooklyn broker (who i have grown increasingly disillusioned with over the past few months due to her conduct in other negotiation situations) and it went nowhere. i feel strongly that this is my broker's fault. i removed my bid but i am still interested in the apartment. and i no longer want to pursue this with her as my representative. are there any legal ramifications if i enter a new bid with a new broker? are there any ethical concerns to consider?

ethics... please...

legal? not sure --- ask your new broker, who I am sure will answer you ethically.

Better yet, ask your attorney.

I went through the same thing and got misinformation and lost the apartment. Rescind yourself from your current broker by email and make the deal with the new broker. Bottom line, it's whomever you make the deal with and negotiates your price. You can even go back and just negotiate it with the listing broker who will probably be thrilled since he/she will not have to co-broker the deal.
