The rental building? Expensive, but pretty good. If you are young you will probably have a blast there.

TVs in the gym never work. Lots of tennants have had problems with air conditioners and the washer/dryers.
The views from the upper floors are great. The apartments have nice finishes. But when you dig deeper you will realize that the building has many problems. The maintenance issues are disappointing for any rental. They are ridiculous for a "luxury" rental at this price point.
I do agree with MRussell though. The other tennants tend to be young, fun, friendly people. But you're paying for a place to live and at the Elektra you aren't getting what you pay for.

Sorry - some of my post didn't show up.
I started by saying that I live in the Elektra, and that you should be wary of the many maintenance issues. There are CONSTANT problems with the elevators (ask any tennant). And plenty of other issues with air conditioning, washers, dryers, etc. The apartments look nice, but it is a hassle to get management to fix things.
I fell in love with the apartment when I looked at it. I wish I knew more about the management company (or started a post here like you did) before I moved in...
