Discussion about
I'm trying to determine the value of a storage unit in my condo. There are ten units and each has a 6'-8' storage unit with an 8' ceiling in the basement. Any ideas what the value would be? I'm looking for a number to negotiate with. Thank you.

$300 per sq ft seems about right. After all you can use the freed up space typically at $1000 per sq ft in your apartment.

Shouldn't storage space be priced per cubic foot?

that size at a manhattan storage location will run about $125/mo give or take...take whatever rent multiple you want, take on a premium for location/convenience and you are talking in the area of $25k...anythng less is a good deal

Are there any monthly maintenance/tax charges with the unit? Usually garage spaces in a building do have those, which adds to the cost. Just wondering if same holds true for storage spaces.
