Discussion about
I am planning renovations for my co-op apartment, and as part of the alternation agreement, the co-op requires that I provide a letter from a licensed engineer which certifies that electrical loads require from the renvoations will not be in excess of the electrical capacity of the apartment and will not adversely affect the Building's electrical service. My GC said they found an engineer to do it for $2,500... does that sounds ridiculously expensive to anyone else? I'd appreciate any insight or engineer referrals.. Thanks,
