negotiating with glenwood?

I have lived in a glenwood apt for the last several years. I came in when the marktet was better, so rent was not negotiable. Since then, they have tried to jack up the rent. They definitely try to get you on the renewal increases. I fight with them and heavily negotiate the renewal rent every time.

My suggestion to you is keep pushing to get as low an initial rent as possible, because you will again need to argue with them on the renewal rents....

which building are you looking at?

Also note that the service is not what it used to be. They claim that nothing has changed with their service but they are lying. There is a discussion on Glenwood service from a couple of months ago.

looking at several buildings on the ues, including barclay, hamilton, andover, lucerne, brittany. any of these better than others? is lucerne worth the premium?

sorry, I live on the west side and don't know the east side rental buildings.
