Discussion about
Has anyone here heard of Mr. Sandless? We are planning on refinishing hardwood floors in our house and came across this company. Since their process is very different from traditional sanding process, I am curious to know if anyone has used or considered this process when refinishing floors. Compared to traditional sanding, the process is shorter (it looks like they use a patented formula to screen or "sand" the floor, as well as a 3 coats of a non-urethane finish), and it's supposed to be "green" and non-toxic. I'd appreciate if anyone had any feedback or experience with this company. Thanks!

Another question about hw floor refinishing: I've spoken to a couple of contractors and I'm seeing a difference in process. One guy I talked to said he would remove the quarter round and another guy does not. Which would produce the best result? I would think that removing the quarter round makes more sense but needs to be done carefully. Any thoughts here?
