Does any one have more egregious example of square footage overstatement? I see max 1500 s The condo offering is itself overstated as the previous sales shows inflated sq footage.

pretty outrageous!! I guess 2 foot thick walls are included on all sides. Every step of the stairs is counted.

I once lived in a similar layout (rental) and the building exagerated the sq footage b/c they would count the 2nd floor/loft area as if it covered entire space/floor. Basically they would count the air/double height ceiling in living room as if it were floor space assuming a floor was actually built. That's the nonsense they try to get away with (and i guess they do or used to).

I also blame the lazy buyers to a certain extent (in addition to listing agents of course). When you are spending such a large sum of money, why not take the trouble to apply the grade school math to calculate the appx sq footage rather than believe the listing.
