Discussion about
Thoughts on the cost of building out a loft space in a condo in Brooklyn? It has new floors, kitchen and master bath, which we're not touching, nor are we cutting into the concrete slab. We want to install one new bathroom (frameless glass shower, tiled bathroom), the stubbing is there for it, and put in two bedrooms. No demolition work, minor electric work, basically consisting of installing new lights. Thoughts on both cost and the amount of time something like this should take? Thanks.

new bath = 10 - 30K. walls for new bedrooms + electrical 20 - 25K. I'm guessing 30 - 50K beginning to end. 3 - 6 weeks, assuming no holdups once you start from the co-op/workmen/delivery of fixtures.
