Paul Krugman is a poster child for everything wrong with the Economics profession these days. Maybe he needs to spend some more time on regressions and less time writing op eds in support of failed economic policies.

Really? You mean those very countries that implemented Ayn Rand's deregulation policies faster than anyone? That's what caused their mess - bank deregulation and financial engineering, where you decide what the answer is and work backwards to define the problem.
