Grammercy Stark v. Truffles

Truffles much better area. Hudson River Park so much better than East River.

Since I'm a realtor I can't share all my thoughts, so let me just say this: I would go to both buildings in person, if you haven't already.

Tribeca (or TriBeCa)

Grammercy
Tribecca

west side is awesome... you're 5 minutes to rest of tribeca, whole foods, west village, tennis courts, pool, etc... running and bike path.

gramercy is a different neighborhood.

finishes go to the starck and layouts are more generous.
amenities go to truffles... at first i thought the club room was ridiculous, now think it's amazing
subway access is truffles.

Have not seen the apartments at Truffles but have dealt with Gramercy Starck quite a bit. The apartments are small, especially the one bed. There are a lot of "investors" in this building and as a result you may encounter a situation where the owner is desperate to get it rented, and may be looking to rent it out below market value.

Gramercy Stark -- Ridiculously large and scary portrait in lobby.

Truffles -- Stupid-ass name.

I say neither.
