A majority of Americans are dissatisfied with the nation’s independent central bank, saying the U.S. Federal Reserve should either be brought under tighter political control or abolished outright, a poll shows. http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2010-12-09/more-than-half-of-americans-want-fed-reined-in-or-abolished.html The degree of Tea Party Ignorance is spectacular. The disinformation campaign is working. Why, without the Fed, we couldn't get any more money until the next nearby star exploded and squirted some gold our way.

independent central bank? not really. Its shareholders are private.100%. and not even american for the most part (mostly european).as for WASP: not really. 1/3 at the most. jewish 2/3. (1%catholic?)

What?! Most Americans don't even know what the Fed does and yet they are "not happy". Most Americans can't even name their senator's or Governor's name let alone what the fed is let alone does. Such Bullsh-t.
