So, we abandoned our dreams of the west village because it just didn't seem possible. Now we're focusing on Chelsea, Gramercy or Union Square and looking for something for $3200 or less with a renovated kitchen and preferably a doorman. Seems like our best bet is finding someone to rent their condo or coop. Is this possible? Or do we need to just stay uptown?
Forgot to mention, if anyone has suggestions for buildings to look at that would be great. Many thanks!
My favorite building in chelsea is the caroline. It is at 60 west 23rd. They have a great doorman, beautiful roofdeck, fantastic gym and fun amenities like carolers and brunches. Apartments never last long and thet are nicely renovated. Currently theyhave a 1 bedroom for 3395, although my manager can usually get a rent reduction.
You need a broker to see an apartment there, let me know if you'd like to make an appt.snezanc@gmail.com
