Proper spelling and punctuation, for a start.
The Gristedes downstairs attracts all sorts of lowlifes exchanging bottles for cash, and on Barrow Street there is an endless parade of delivery trucks and garbage trucks and freezer trucks that keep their engines on while idling, for hours at a time.
Not to mention the noisy bar scene in Sheridan Square will keep you up all night long.
Other than that - DIVINE!
i live in this building and it's an amazingly well run co-op. amazing roof deck and staff. gristedes is a joke (for price and quality of produce) but there are tons of other options in the area. delivery trucks do not idle for hours at a time on barrow. there are a couple of restaurants that receive deliveries but unless you're home all day, you won't notice them. the barrow street ale house is the bane of my existence but that's about it.
subway lines 1, A, C, E, B, D, F, M are all within 5 minute walks. not to mention about 80 restaurants. in nyc it's all about location and this location really can't be beat. west side parks, wash sq park, chelsea market, union square...all within 15 minutes.
you'd be lucky to find an apt here and your investment would never decrease.
Hi, wondering if anyone else lives here and what their thoughts are?
