Discussion about
Tons of snow. State is near bankruptcy. But Christie and the Lt. Gov are both gone. Leadership at its' finest.
Is he lounging by a pool in Orlando in a speedo?
In contrast, Cory Booker, the mayor of Newark, has been out all day shoveling snow and delivering diapers. Christie could sure lose some weight if he went and plowed some snow with Booker. But that's ok. Christie will be handing over the keys to the governor's mansion after he loses to Booker.
These sound a great deal like rants of the the President.
wheres huntersburg?
Tons of snow. 14 states in a state of emergency. Nation near bankruptcy. But Obama is still in Hawaii. Leadership at its finest.
Ummm, Hawaii is in the U.S. Obama has his "football" everywhere he goes. He can still nuke any country he wants from a Hawaiian beach.
or maybe he is in Hawaii to make sure that nobody finds the REAL birth certificate, right birthers?
Christie is still at Disney at this hour. Someone shoudl tell Chrisite that Disney only needs one Dumbo at a time.
Thousands of retired cops, firemen, and teachers still in FL for the past decades milking NJ of hundred of millions of dollars in their subsidized pensions.
Strawman argument: Well, they don't 'run' the State.
Point to libtard: If they still have a significant say (read, lobby) on how CURRENT NJ's budget is used, then they do take part in 'running' NJ.. from sunny FL of course :)
When is socialist going to realize how he embarrasses himself with ridiculous comments. He criticizes Christie for a holiday vacation, but is fine with Obama (who is how many time zones away) for the same thing. I have no problem with either taking a short holiday vacation.
And Booker should be leading executive matters rather than running around for photo ops.
"Ummm, Hawaii is in the U.S."
Um, so is Disney.
LICComment, there's a bit of a difference. Obama is in the United States, which he governs.
Christie is not in New Jersey, which is the place he governs.
Snowstorms though are the great leveler for area leaders, as the NY Times pointed out: http://www.nytimes.com/2010/12/31/nyregion/31outrage.html
how does one engage "leading executive matters"?
with a fing leash? all through city hall??
Dems really running the daily biz in NJoisy.
Christie is just the strawman - it's a pity that became now common knowledge.
well, Chrisite is finally back from Florida. Maybe he will pick up a shovel and start plowing snow with Booker? I'm sure he could use the help.
Who is in charge of state level snow conditions? I would imagine it is state and local government.
So now Obama is supposed to leave Hawaii, start smacking governors and mayors to the side and start taking over the states individually?
Boy, I really wish Obama would do something about the fare hike! Right!?!?
***
Wouldn't it be easier and make more sense to simply post: Me are not like Obama! Me mad! aaarg!
oohah, that was laugh out loud good!
Christie and his extended family have been working the spoons trying to dig that tunnel under the Hudson themselves.
Then they're going out to cook at soup kitchens to feed the states teachers, municipal workers and everyone in the construction industry.
Then its off to the Jersey shore where Chris pulls off his shirt and points to his belly
THAT'S THE SITUATION!
oh and what a situation it is.
I've been to Jersey...I wouldn't waste a penny on trying to educate them either.
But digging tunnels????
This is what they're good at.
That's productive. Blame New Jersey.
I went to Jersey yesterday. Hope I don't need to go back for years. What a mess and traffic to get back into the city. The trip from hell. It reminded me exactly why I never want to move there. They can have it.
"...Rudy Giuliani: Chris Christie 'Should've Come Back' From Disney World During Snowstorm
..."Chris should've come back," said Giuliani of the recent trip. "I mean, if he asked me my advice, I would've said 'They elected you governor, they've got an emergency, they expect you to be there.'"
He added, "You know, you've got to be there if you're a governor, a mayor, or even a president, if it's important enough."..."
