Nice apartments, space, light, etc but terribly managed building and subpar staff. There is frequent turnover, hence the availability. Many more apartments are unrenovated and not included in marketed availability. The restaurant shares the basement with the residential tenants which raises issues when doing laundry. Construction site adjacent to bldg has been in development for years with no forward progress. The bldg also has no super currently, making the staff even more difficult.

Thank you so much Oliver! Do you happen to know if there is pest problem due to the restaurant on the ground level? Also, how are the windows with the street noise level? I saw an art deco bldg on CPS with original windows that did nothing to muffle sound. Thank you!

I am not sure about a pest problem or noise but I do know that the windows are doubled (old window then new window) so I would guess it is reasonable barrier to outside noise (although if you face 57th st or are on a low floor, it may noisy no matter what). The neighbor noise, however, is bad. You hear everything from your upstairs neighbor b/c many of the apartments have marble floors in the foyer and dining room.

Sorry, more questions...the studios are quite large but have just the one ac/heating unit. Do you happen to know if this is adequate to heat or cool the apartment? Also, any ideas if the walls are thin? Thank you!
