Discussion about
My wife and I are buying a co-op in Manhattan. The floor plan is here: http://www.olr.com/Pictures/broker_floorplan/853994_fp4921098.jpg&maxw=990&maxh=745 As you can see, the bedroom is on the "right" and the living room is on the left. We want to reconfigure that floor so that the bedroom is on the "left" and the living room is on the "right". There is also a half-wall between the kitchen and the dining area we want to take down. Can anyone recommend a good contractor who can handle this relatively minor job? We'd ideally like to get this done in the next couple of weeks, i.e., shortly after we close. Thanks in advance.
Sorry -- here is the correct link:

Try Julio Bonete (718-781-9904) of Bonete Renovation - he's REALLY good and cheap. Only thing is he's not licensed and insured so if your co-op requires someone licensed and insured called Martin Barazorda (347-234-3597) of Inti Renovation - not as cheap but definitely talented. Here are links to Inti's most recent project...

Good Luck,

Thanks Adam. Yes, I think the co-op does require someone who is licensed and insured. Do you have any thoughts on how much a project like this might run?
Thanks.
Primer05 is on this site a lot and seems to have sense when it comes to renos -- don't know if this job is the right size for him or not --
Primer, you out there?
