Entire Home/Condo Water Purifier?

I want to install one of those water filtering system that works for your entire. The ones that install under the kitchen sink does not have enough water flow for my liking. Has anybody heard of doing this for their entire condo/co-op apartment?

Yes, The building can filter its water, but the cost is not de minims.
