does anyone know anything about 99 john ? the conversion has been just approved and what is currently being asked seems way too high in my mind, any thoughts ?
their insider price is nothing, if you take your apt as is thy will give 5 % , please, although their finshed apts are poor poor quality, still 5 % is insulting.
it's true that the 5 % doesn't make and sense, we were so excited that the buliding was converting snce we really want to by, but now with the price and the insider pricing we are very dispointed. and their selling point to us at least are not postive i.e: their free coffee in the lobby in the morning ! and the 5th floor roof ( too dark, noisey and smelly ).
I agree, the renovated apts are very poor quality; no washer/dryer, below-avg fixtures etc. I would like to see 10-15% decrease before even considering buying. It's a shame, as I am a big fan of my apt...
i'm going to wait now for 34 Leonard Street, in tribeca..and see i was thinking 15-20 % for john :)
i suggest all the tenanats in the building that are truly interested in buying should ban together to negotiate a group 20% discount off the asking price.
collectively, it could be a win win for everyone, especially during the holiday season when buying is the slowest!
it's not that easy to sell 440 condos at the asking price and quality level they are offering!
what's with the tackey mid century design within reach furniture in the main lobby now?
does rockrose have the taste level to market these condos like all the other designer affliated buildings in the neigiborhood?
i like my apartment at 99 john but feel like i could go somewhere else and get a much nice apartment in the neigborhood for the price.
what is everyone else doing?
