Sale at 438 4th Street #2B

Actually, looks like it sold for $565,000 on June 23, 2006. There is a $499,000 listing of what seems to be the same apartment at almost the same time, but the timing seems to be a bit out of sync (shows up right after the $565k sale but never shows up as a separate sale -- only a listing). Could be a flipper, but who in mid-2006 would have bought then immediately re-listed at a 10% lower price?

This place doesn't look bad for the price, but I'd worry it would be noisy given it's on the 2nd floor at the corner of 7th Ave.

Then again . . . if you look at the actual history of the $499,000 listing in 2006, looks like that listing corresponds in time to the $565,000 sale. So basically it sold well above that ask.
