"12 Signs That The Worst Housing Collapse In U.S. History Is Getting Worse"

"We are officially in the middle of the worst housing collapse in U.S. history - and unfortunately it is going to get even worse."

"Already, U.S. housing prices have fallen further during this economic downturn (26 percent), then they did during the Great Depression (25.9 percent)."

Where business insider? Where? Don't these idiots at business insider understand that real estate is local. Ya know Camden, NJ vs Manhattan. Not exactly sure about the other towns across the USA but here in manhattan prices and rents have been moving higher since early '09 and have ramped up this past 6 months. Duh!

Hilarious!

And so SteveF's head explodes yet again from overwhelming rage and frustration, as the equity in the condos he bought in 2008 sinks deeper and deeper into negative territory!!

that real deal article is talking about office rents. i don't have the stats in front of me but nyc office rents made a much quicker and deeper correction than nyc condo/coop prices. also there wasn't as much of an office construction boom as there was in residential real estate in nyc. in fact many offices were converted to hotel or residential.

SteveF - I agree with your observation! You're remarkably self-aware!!

"Therapy will help." Glad to see you're taking some action to address your problems. I wish you the best!

SteveF - that is very funny.

The only appropriate response would have to be "Right back at ya!"

Anyway, I continue to wish you luck in your Quixotic mission to single-handedly stop the decline of the NY real estate market!

beatyerputz...doesn't it bother you that everyone sees you as an idiot and a bear. You've failed miserably brother. You could have bought and made a score but you were greedy and hoped for a crash. Didn't happen, prices firmed, moved higher and now have ramped up. So where does that leave you? Lost.

Did you pay your rent beaterputz? it's the 2nd and it's due. Your landlord beats his putz when he pays down the principal with your money....

"Where does that leave you?"

Oh, with a fabulous equities portfolio and plenty of cash to buy your studio condos at 50% off!

"Did you pay your rent?"

I sure did! And it's about half what I would pay if I were to buy!

"Don't f with me man"

You are a clown, full goose bozo. The more you post, the more fun we all have!
