Discussion about
I had a kitchen rennovation done by Elgot over a year ago... a month or so after, the new wood floors that were installed began to pop in certain areas. Clearly the adhesive wasn't working. Elgot's response was awful... took them forever. Finally they came and said it was fixed... Then a couple of months later it happened again. They came back again, and fixed it. It's now happening again... but the renovation is over a year old... I'm just completely frustrated. Clearly the can't fix it correctly... not sure what to do.... Thoughts?

Mary,

If you want I will come by and take a look. I might be able to help you. It doesn't make sense that anything should have to be done more then once, twice at the most people do make mistakes. What kind of new wood is it? You can email me at www.primerenovations@mac.com

Mary:

Sounds as though they might not have installed a proper
underbase, such as plywood. The problem might also be
caused by extremely unlevel floor or building settlement.
