What Would This Cost In A NY suburb?

I see people on this board badmouthing Vegas and other locales, check out the website below and let me know what something similar would cost and how much the taxes would be in the burbs of NY, NJ or CT. Note it's 4400 sqft, 5 years old, gated community, in-ground pool, putting green, sauna, 4 bedroom, 3 1/2 bath. $575k still buys alot out of this area. Taxes $4207 per year, Home Owners association fee, $70 per month. Check out the pictures and drool. All 30 minutes from the strip. Of course if you need to find a job, you may have a looong search. Funny that both websites say comparable homes ACTUALLY sell for $200k less. Which I know for a fact they do.

nice house, but it is overpriced. I can buy the foreclosure next door or down the street for half that much.

you can't just say NJ...

northeast Bergen Co = $6MM

northwest BC = $2.2MM

West Essex = $2.1 at $60k taxes
