Interior decorators do not need licenses. They are not architects.

We are licensed architects who do interior design, experienced in a wide range of apartment sizes in NYC. What are you needs?
whats the name of your outfit? Looking to gut and renovate a small pre-war 350 sq. ft. studio, new kitchen, new bathroom, keep existing floors but extend to kitchen area, as well as interior design of space, hndle purchases of appliances, seating, audio, etc--all within budget I will provide. Not looking for top, top of the line, but looking for sleek, very nice renovation. many thanks,

We can do your job with appropriate budget, plus manage install of your fixtures and equipment. Must point out that an AV system is not cheap, it would be great for you to have existing units rather than buy new, but we can talk about that. It's great that you know how much you can spend, that helps a great deal.
Please contact The MAAI Group, Architecture and Interiors (based at 3rd Ave and 90th St in Manhattan) at 917 273 1949 and we could do a brief review. If you want to see an example of our work give me an email address and I'll send a couple images over to you.
