Discussion about
Top 10 states with highest unemployment rates: 42 MISSISSIPPI 10.1 -- LOW TAX 43 GEORGIA 10.2 -- LOW TAX 44 KENTUCKY 10.3 -- LOW TAX 45 OREGON 10.6 -- LOW TAX 46 SOUTH CAROLINA 10.7 -- LOW TAX 47 RHODE ISLAND 11.5 -- LOW TAX 48 MICHIGAN 11.7 -- MODERATE TAX 49 FLORIDA 12.0 -- LOW TAX 50 CALIFORNIA 12.5 -- HIGH TAX 51 NEVADA 14.5 -- LOW TAX http://www.bls.gov/web/laus/laumstrk.htm So of the 10 states with the highest unemployment rates, 8 of them are low taxed. One is high tax, and Michigan I classified as "moderately" taxed since their rate falls right in the middle. So how do tax cuts create jobs again?
