Discussion about
giving this building a very serious look and would much appreciate any feedback on the neighborhood as most of the posts on this topic are a few years old. The building and the units are very well constructed but the only thing holding me back is the neighborhood. 1) any safety concerns 2) thoughts on resale Thanks in advace.
Is safety improving in NYC?
Honestly, the loction is questionable in my opinion.
I just purchased in this building in September. It's a GREAT building!!! Honestly!! I know some have concerns about the projects across the street but I did my research prior to buying and there has been no problem. I even walked the neighborhood at 3:00 AM just to be sure. The highline is right down the street and the art galleries have added a great charm to this hood.

And the projects have not moved.

Report back after a month of 80 degree plus weather.
It is well constructed though.
I yet to come across someone who purchased an apartment and regreat the purchase and turn around crticizing their building. This testimony is unreliable. Call it a cognitive dissonance or conflict of interest or just pure marketing issue. I would not trust Tom's posting. It is a relatively clean and nice street during the winter months. As far as the summer- I do not know.
Yep, the few times I walked the neighborhood at 3am I thought of the Carter apartments in New Jack City.
Yo G-Money ......wat up!
