Con Ed Sub Station

Does anyone know anything about a purchasing next to a Con Ed Sub Station? It allows for the apartment to have great light but do they ever move? If this one did and a big building went up it would destroy apartment. Also. What do you think of ask 1.595 on a Loft that owners purchsed in 2006 at 1.295. No real improvements done to the apartment. Thanks

The chances of it blowing up or causing a fire of some sort is probbaly not that high, but what about all the electrical fields? Even if studies say it's ok, would believe them? Do you really want to take that chance with your family's health?
