I've seen this apartment advertised everywhere, and I think it's been on the market for months. 4 bedrooms, doorman, older building I know, for $7500. Broker said they have turned down 6900 as an offer to rent. Any thought as to why?

It isn't a nice building. Fair amount of issues. If you asked tenants they would probably steer you away. Which is probably why a rare family-sized prewar rental languishes...
