How big? What kind of roof? Is it replacing existing?

Maybe 2x3 ish (kind of standard size. It's in a brownstone, not replacing an existing.

Don't do it. There are only 2 types of skylights: Those that leak and those that will leak.

It would cost anywhere between $3000- $5,000.
