The entrance would be moved to the back, allow for a plaza to be built in front of the building. This will not be constructed in the first phase but has been set aside due to possible damage to the building next. The present lobby will be turned into a playground with planted berms, sand and swings for families and children.Part of the playground will be opened to the public. are you talking about 24 leonard or 34 leonard (that has web site)?? Have looked at 34 leonard and don't see how your description would work within the current plans....

So, what do you know about it?

I don't know much about this project (except that it's a con-dop and the monthlies are twice any new development in Tribeca)...the lobby tho is small and I have no idea what inoeverything is talking about (planted berms?? huh?? look at the web site)...as for a playground unless you want your kids on West broadway or in the nasty parking lot on the south side that will surely be a construction site in the next 12 months (great souther views of that hideous brick building!!) you're probably going to be disappointed....building looks nice just in a war zone of construction (NY law going up across the street) and your bedrooms are all on lovely West Broadway (noise)
