Can anyone tell me if they've had a negative experience with a rent back agreement? After I had an accepted offer, and had my attorney start working on contracts, the seller's broker contacted me and said that the seller want to do a rent back. I would close on May 15th and they would stay until June 1. Obviusly there woudl be money in escrow and penalties built into the rent back agreement but it makes me nervous somehow. If I push it I may lose the apt. Thoughts?
