Discussion about
I'm interested in updating my feel for the city in general, with an emphasis on midtown west doorman studio rental market, Flatiron studio sales market, and Clinton Hill-Fort Greene 2-bd sales and rental markets. Also, I am in the market for rent-stabilized and rent-controlled coops and condos, and hyper-distress deals of all sorts.

MR:

I have a small doorman studio that I have preliminarily advertised for $1995
without photos or location and gotten about 1-2 responses/day. I dont have
access yet so I dont have photos or an availability date, but the response is
consistent with your observation. Also much stringer than it would have been
six months ago.

It's a decontrolled Sponsor coop but my lease riders will give my tenants an
automatic right to renew. Also gut renovated and I accept 150+ pound dogs.

rb, I don't think you're likely to fine many 'hyper-distress deals' these days. The time for that has passed. At least for now.

bramster:

By hyper-distressed I mean with so many problems that almost noone
will be interested in the property.
