Hi, my name is Myrna Vega, and I went to P.S. 31 in Dupont St, Greenpoint in 1958. I remember the principal's name which was at that time, Mr. Soloff. I have so many memories of that time and place. I remember the old building which was 4 or 5 stories high. It was a great school with great teachers. The secretary's name was Mrs. Fleen.
It was demolished right after I graduated from 6th grade. Now it's on meserole ave. My daughter went there at pre-k. I will always be grateful for my education there.

My mother used to work there when I was little girl. she was one of the teachers in the years 1969-70
then I went to the catholic school next door.
