Discussion about
looking for a powder room wall mount sink.. under 15inch depth works best.. any thoughts?
Duravit makes some narrow ones. I found one that was about 12" deep and 19" wide so wide enough for the sink and a lil counter space for soap, lotion, etc. Course you could also just add a ledge above the sink to hold this stuff too.
that's true and looking at the vero handrinse from duravit thank you
I have a Duravit Happy D wall-mount.
Does anyone even use powder in the powder room anymore?
LOL, Matt--it used to be for powdering wigs. Does anyone do THAT anymore?? :-D
Well, I suppose there are parts of the Upper East Side where they use a different kind of powder in the powder room ...
In England, they call it the "cloak room". No, I don't want to hang up my coat, I want to...wash my hands. Took me a while to figure that out.
matt, of all the hoods in new york, whatever makes you say that ues is the place where people do coke in the bathroom?
PS: just google "15 inch sink" & select "images" (so you can see what it looks like), but Duravit makes good small sinks.
Actually, I would think it's Matt 's hood where there might be some funny powder in the powder room. Oh wait, there aren't too many apatrments with powder rooms in Matt's hood.
We have an excellent small Duravit sink. Also another very good small one that we got at Davis & Warshow, but I can't remember the brand name.
The Porcher Chipperfield Pedestal sink is gorgeous. A bit over 15 though... 19-3/4" x 18-7/8" x 34"
I have the Kohler Parigi® pedestal lavatory - K-2175-1 19-3/4"L x 14"W x 32-7/8"H
Like the Porcher better, but it was smaller and fit in my space better. No complaints.
I put a porcher in a maid's bath...they make nice small sinks if the space is tight
i was thinking ..

That's a bit upscale for a maid.
How about this:
