Island you're lokking for an apartment 6 weeks ahead of when you should be. You're two mutts are going to make your search very narrow. Insisting on a multi year lease is foolish. Go to a brokerage website, not craigslist and prepare to pay 10k plus in fees :)

Whatever. A toilet seat up is nothing. There are plenty of apt ads that look like "Hoarders."

I agree that demanding a multi-year lease is a bad idea. You will be in a bind if your situation changes (change or loss of a job or of custody, etc.) or if you just don't like the apt. 2 years is a long time.

Island:

I offer and generally prefer multi-year leases and am
sure that I am not alone. I also offer my tenants
multi-year options (I dont have what you want).

with the toilet seat down, the bathroom would still have the shower curtain bar across the room, and the vanity with the toilet paper dispenser built in concave.
