Discussion about
I would imagine foreclosures are still a rare thing in Manhattan. Assuming the buyer is positioned financially well to buy one, would there be a web site, attorneys or brokers who specialize in them? Can anybody advice?

"I would imagine foreclosures are still a rare thing in Manhattan."

Why would you imagine this?

I think propertyshark has been mentioned for tracking foreclosures, and there must be others.

We had a broker here, until he driven away by the name-calling, who did them. IIRC the first step is monitoring the legal notices in the New York Law Journal.

There aren't that many for Manhattan, compared with the other boroughs. Most of those I've seen in the NYLJ have been rowhouses in Harlem, with a few regular apartments cropping up.

You mean that scum-sucker parasite who fed off the misfortune of others? That guy?

NWT - thank you. New York Law Journal is a good advice.

... you mean he was a broker who also helped broadcast "news" for a living?
