Discussion about
I am looking for a 2 bed/bath, 1000+ sqft, rental in the Southern part of BPC but the liquidity seems to have dried out these days. Some nice units I see in buildings like the Visionaire or the Millennium are asking for a steep broker fee which reduces their attractiveness quite a bit from a renter's perspective. Any insights into how to generate some options will be highly appreciated.

try the visionaires sales office - they might have availablity that are not listed through brokers as they rarely use them. also, check with the doormen at the millennium - owners will tell them of availability without listing them as well. i know of people who got condos there to rent with no fees by checking with the concierge.

Check with Milford Management for no fee rentals in the Liberty buildings in southern BPC....Liberty House, Liberty Terrace, Liberty Court and Liberty View.
Their offices are located in Liberty View at 99 Battery Place.
They have been renovating their apts. so you might find one that's brand new.

Isn't "southern BPC" basically Staten Island?

Thanks rangersfan, that is a very good tip. I personally find the renovated Milford offerings highly overpriced for the quality of the buildings. But would love to hear from you Prada if you come across anything in your building.

The Brodsky building on Battery Place has decent-sized apartments, and no fee. Their available apts are usually posted on the Brodsky website, sometimes on SE too.
