Discussion about 120 Greenwich Street in Financial District
someone sounds frustrated that prices aren't coming down so they have an opportunity to purchase at a discount
do a little research before you post:
-no one is paying over 1000/sq foot. asking prices are slightly above $1000/sq ft for the better apartments less 5-6% CASH concessions. that effectively lowers the price/sq ft to well below 1000.
-no one really knows what is going to happen at the deutsche bank site. that building was hideous. whatever replaces it (if anything) will be a vast improvement and will probably have a smaller footprint. the new office tower at the NW end of the WTC site opened with 25% occupancy. perhaps the market is not there for a "tower 5".
Deutsche bank is now gone...still feeling hopeful? 4 years later how do you *really* feel about that investment? :-D
Does anyone know what is going up across the street?
A wonderful unobstructed view of Memorial Park and the Freedom Tower can be seen from apartments with north facing windows.
