Can removing wall/closet affect offering plan?

In my condo I have a small closet that extends out into the bedroom and am now considering getting it removed. Before the closing the sponsor was giving me the option of removing it after I closed (likely I suspect if he removed it before I closed it would have been illegal since the offering plan likely has the bedroom closet included). In a nutshell I chose to keep it. So now I am reconsidering getting it removed. How much would it cost for contractors to remove the closet? How would it affect the offering plan if I ever decided to resell?
no offering plan issue if you remove it after you close, however, I believe NYC requires a bedroom to have a closet within it, thus removing the closet MIGHT affect your ability to market it as a one bedroom apartment. run it by your real estate attorney.
