Does anyone know why this building seems to be priced much lower than other buildings in the area? Looks like most apartments are going for about 850 sq/ft, vs around 1000 for other buildings in the area (23 east 10th, 111 4th, etc)? Maintenance seems comparable.

This is a very large building that cuts through to 8th street. Prices of apartments on lower floors facing 8th Street may reflect that. There is also a courtyard of the building that many apartments face. On it's face, there is nothing wrong with this building from what I saw. I just isn't the posh kind of pre-war buildings nearby on 5th Ave and University. Curious what others have to say.
