A/C Repairs, who pays?

Who pays for A/C repairs if the compressor needs to be fixed? Unit has worked for several years but needs the usual maintenance. This is an individual A/C unit in a coop/condo building. Thanks.

It depends on who installed it and the by-laws of the building. In feneral, if this is part of a building-wide system, maintenance and repairs should be handled by the management company.
