Hotels that offer rental units?

My family has rented a suite in the Loews Regency for close to 20 years. However after the apartment/unit has fallen into disarray the hotel has refused to renovate or lower our monthly rent and we have decided to spend our money elsewhere. Was curious if you guys knew of any luxury hotels near Central Park (preferably east side in the 60's) that offered long-term stays. A furnished unit with maid service is needed. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
