That maintenance is going to be a tough sell...

Even though the ask price is lower, the maintenance is still too high. Does the kitchen need work? I'm sure. The attic space has ceiling height of about 6 feet making me wonder what's downstairs under this unit? I'm kind of surprised as I have gone by this building like all of my life and I guess I expected something different.

On the floor below, the living room is at the back, with a much higher ceiling than the rest. That's what you're climbing on top of on the 13th floor.

This is why there is an attic space. The 12th floor was Gershwin's Apartment. The living room is under the attic area on the 13th floor and has a ceiling height of 13 feet. I love this town!

We saw this apt- its really weird- been on the market for a LONG time.

There are rooms that are reminiscent of the being john malkovich movie

Hmmmmmm, 75% down. I can only imagine how difficult board approval would be much less the by-laws! Still, Gershwin lived and composed there one floor below and I can't get past that. That must be a real interesting crowd living there.

I'm bumping this one up
OK,
We know it's the wacky apartment with the crazy cc and a bedroom for cousin It.
What will it trade for?

My guess: $899,000.

Unfortunately, this apartment is virtually untradable. People that are willing to pay the $5,750/month in carrying costs sans mortgage would want something nicer than this.
