As someone who has lived here for over a dozen years at market rent - the buildings still have rent regulated tenants from the Mitchell-lama era - here are the pros I experienced: Pros - Great views - probably unrivaled. - Very quiet, particularly in the high floors - Gym next to the building - Parking - reserved spot for an extra $100pm - great to come and go as needed. - Rent reasonable by... How about living in no man's land with no convenient access to restaurants, subways, and any street life. It's like living in Queens(shudder). LOL. Isn't that a Con??

It seems somewhat counter intuitive to praise the safety yet complain about the security.

jim_hones10: Security does not have to be intrusive and bureaucratic. The management mindset at Waterside is akin to that of a camp commandant in an army base.

Clearly, the purpose of security there has nothing to do with safety, and everything to do with profitable eviction of rent-regulated tenants.

Clearly, the purpose of security there has nothing to do with safety, and everything to do with profitable eviction of rent-regulated tenants who would be subject to eviction if they are not in lawful compliance with those rent regulations.
