I'm a newly divorce mother of two who is looking for an affordable 1.5 or 2 bedroom in Ft. Greene, Prospect Heights, Park Slope, Williamsburg or Greenpoint. Do any of you know of realtors or landlords that have unrenovated apartments in any of these neighborhoods? I can't afford anything that's shiny and new. I'm hoping to spend no more than $1800.

I too am looking for an apartment in these same neighborhoods (I would include Clinton Hill) although I would like a studio or a 1br since it will be just me. Well me and my 9lb mini poodle. Does anyone know of an apartment that is Pet Friendly under $1500? I know I may be asking for a miracle but here is hoping one of you kind people can provide one. Thanks

Check out www.UrbanEdgeNY.com to see thousands of no-fee apartment listings! There are tons of listings in Brooklyn and you can run a search to find apartments within your price range.
