Discussion about The Powerhouse at 2-17 51st Avenue in Hunters Point
Anyone have any thoughts on this building? It seems like a solid building compared to what i've seen in Long Island City thus far and compared to other new developments in other areas as well.

I'm no fan of the location, seems way down by the crowded area of forthcoming development, plus trains, highway. I'm no expert on the neighborhood but check the view from Google Earth.

Anyone have any thoughts about the reasons why there are so many listings on sale at The Powerhouse? Does the building have any unknow problem (managmente, financial, etc)? Have you heard any rumors?

Does anyone know about any problem with the building? There are a lot of active listings and sales seem to be difficult? Any thoughts?
