Discussion about
Just bought an apartment in midtown with aluminum windows and would like to replace. Any suggestions re types and costs for replacements of a good quality window?

desertloper, are any of the windows open to the shower? columbiacounty had trouble with one of those.

do you need noise suppression?

i used windows we are out of brooklyn. they did a fantastic job and came in with a reasonable price. they told me that they owned 1/2 of the manufacturing company, so it was easy to deal with. they have "laminated" windows that drastically reduce noise.

Try Thermotite in Wechester for replacement window.They did my home totally 33 windows about 5 years ago.I am very happy.
