Discussion about 105 Ashland Place #8C
This unit was just featured in the NY Times, as a legitimate market buyer tried and failed to purchase. The board strung him along, and rejected him after several months and an interview. He has since bought in Park Slope. Kingsview rejects nearly all buyers of units sold by owners, trying to coerce the seller into selling to the coop board instead for under-market prices. Then the coop board flips the unit for profit. The units the board sells actually sell, the units the board does not sell just keep going on and off the market until the seller gets worn out and agrees to sell to the board. Unfortunately, this seems to be perfectly legal...
