on the occassion that i work from home, my daughter who isnt even 2 yet is kept very active. and my job affords me a fairly flexible schedule so i see her alot. our nanny is a keeper,i dont believe i have ever actually seen her sit down. how many languages do your children speak?

they are being raised with 2 languages and my 4yo now keeps asking for the french word for everything, some have blamed exposure to fancy nancy, but i think she heard that somewhere else. i do speak french so, i guess we'll be trying that as long as she has interest in it. and my husband keep trying to teach them german, which he learned in school, but perfected when he was bouncing around europe for work and leisure before we met.

i read.it and understood it. but your face is glued to thst phone so much (which is how you say you keep up here) that you arent paying attention to them. the inference is that you are an absentee parent not because you dont spend time around them, but that uou are distracted when you do.

ok, here we actually have a very real failure to communicate because your one child is younger than my 2 kids. my younger daughter goes to the playdates and activities with her 4yo sister. those activities i mentioned, caregivers do not participate in those, as you will find out when your own kid is old enough. read this once and for all and understand it, i'm online not when i'm distracted from them, but when i am waiting for them while they are at a drop off activity. do you understand?
