I rented there for a few months in 2008 and was NOT happy.
Location is amazing, but the units were way below par for the prices they were asking.
I switched units right after I moved in, as the first one was impossible to live in due to the rumbling and noise from the subway right under the building. I felt ripped off the whole time there, and got out as soon as I could.

may I ask, what your rent was? what floor were you on? was it while they were offering furnished apartments - hence the price?

It's been a while, so I don't remember all the details. The most awful apt with the noise issue, was a one bedroom on the 3rd floor.
I complained immediately to the broker and the landlord, and was able to switch.
The second one was a one bed/one tiny bath on the fifth floor I believe. That one I paid around $5500 a month for furnished.
I was in a short term lease, and just didn't renew. If you are interested, you should just go check it out for yourself. You'll see what I'm talking about.
